Slipstream

After civilization collapses and a planet-wide river of wind — the Slipstream — scours the Earth, a bounty hunter steals a mysterious prisoner from two hard-edged law officers and races across the ruined landscape to collect the reward. Steven Lisberger, the visionary director of Tron, follows that chase through isolated desert tribes, airborne settlements, and cult-like remnants of the old world, as it becomes clear the captive is not what he seems.
